I have a few concerns about the OP, based on the reaction to my comments, which actually were meant to be helpful. The reaction was rather aggressive and came across as agitated (red text, large fonts sizes, apparent incredulity that someone dares not to do exactly what was requested).
In view of my concerns, I have decided not to post a full response to your points. I will just explain that my reference to sleights was to highlight that almost any trick that is done with a sleight (vanishing a small object, making one appear, using something like the Spellbound change to effect a transformation) qualifies. You must, of course, separate this out from sleights that just do things as part of bigger tricks.
In the past, I have vanished someone's ring and made it reappear on my own finger and producing a sponge ball is a highly visual quick trick (and a good start to a larger routine). There are many ways of doing the latter, including sleights. Vanishing a silk handkerchief is another fast effect that gets good reactions, especially if you are't doing it with a TT (I think this is more because of the time taken, than because of exposure of that gimmick). Paul Daniels amazed me as a kid doing this on his TV show and a couple of years later, I learned how to do it from his own range of magic tricks.
