Hugh my friend. You aren't getting off to a good start here are you?

1. Please try and post the threads in th section most relevant. It helps to keep things nice and tidy. For example, this wasn't a review.

2. It is always worth searching to see if the topic you are interested in has already covered. I believe that this one has (although not as a poll).

(wheres happytoads video clip when you need it?)

Hi!

EDIT: Gah - beat me to it bananafish!

It's nice to have new people around but could you try to do a few things?

1) Please have a go at spelling things correctly. I'm sure it can't be that hard to use the spell-checker in Word or something similar and copy the text from there into here.

2) One-liner posts are all well and good but sometimes it's nice to have a bit more contents than just the one line. For example, in this topic why not mention your own favourite and explain what it is and how you use it :).

3) The sections in the forum are there for a reason...

Sorry to be critical though...

My personal opinion on gaff decks is that they are well and good, but you really need to have a good reason to use a gaff because many of the decks you have listed are just methods to get around being able to do a decent card control. For example, a stripper deck is good to have but really, IMHO, a double undercut pretty much eliminates the need for this. Sure, you can do some good effects with one but you can do good effects with a normal deck too! Another example of this is the Svengali - the effect is rather simple and IMHO, not that impressive. The main problem is simply that it is not examinable, so people want to check that the deck really has changed into all their card but they cant.

So out of all those decks you have listed there, my favourite would be the ID - it's extremely versatile and it's got many uses, unlike, say, the Mental Photography deck which is only good for one trick!

Kati

Those are all you can think of? Hows about:

1. Mindpower deck
2. Cassandra deck
3. Si Stebbins stack (Ok, not a gaff deck, but certainly not a regular deck—and I always keep one 'ready')
4. One way forcing deck
5. Tapered wizard deck
6. Cardiologist deck (very underrated, imho)
7. Koran deck

Out of yours, the Invisible is my favourite.

Bananafish you certainly have me baffled, which vid clip?

My favourite gaff deck is Phil plus, but out of the ones you give I'd also go with ID.

I thught it was you that posted a link to a clip that (in a humerous light) showed the various protocls to forum posting.

I voted for BrainWave, just for the EXTRA kicker of different coloured back. Also, if seige can pick a stack, I'd like to include the OBC stack. Pure genious...

The ID for me. It's the only gaff deck that I use during a performance.
