To Raven or to "Reel Raven"?

Postby Scott » Jul 24th, '05, 14:26

Hi,
I understand there are two kinds of The Raven on the market, one being the original and the other the "Reel Raven" which is an update.

Has anybody here got comments from their own experiences with both of these types of The Raven before I purchase?

What gives better effects? What's easier to use? Why should I buy one over the other?

Thanks in advance,
Scott.

hi scott, try using the search facility at the top, should be plenty of discussion on this subject. Not a big fan myself, but others are.

There are plenty of Ravens actually:

    Raven
    Raven X2
    Reel Raven
    Universal Raven
    (Bat)

Of those, I think that the original raven is pretty good, though a good retention vanish will be almost as visual. Hard to beat it though...

The others, AFAIK, are just blatant attempts to cash in on the Raven name. None of them are really any good :(.
