Hi there!

Jeff McBride's Art of Card Manipulation DVDs have some great fanning moves, or if you want something more geared to the magic side of things and less to flourishes, try Born to Perform - both of them great DVDs and with lots of moves.

Bill Tarr's book - "Now you see it, Now you don't" has a number of card flourishes and is well illustrated. It also has a whole lot of other stuff - other card sleights, coins, ball sleights etc.
You could also get hold of Royal Road to Card magic - that will give you a good grounding in card magic.

I am a fan of the Royal Road to Card Magic. It has a bit of everything in it and thoroughly explains all of the basics. It is a little old fashioned in style but the content is extremely sound

I too am a afficionado of RRTCM and you will certainly learn to fan from that.

You can always try spending £2.99 at the works and get yourself the art of magic by Micholas Einhorn and they often have card & magic trick by Eve Devereux and Peter Eldin. Both are useful volumes (light but useful)

Definately second that suggestion. :P And, if you are a good magician, the Tarr book will help you become a better magician over-all. Packed, absolutely packed, with good stuff.

Mike.

Royal Road is good, as has been suggested.
Also, Born to Perform Card Magic.
Make sure you are using a decent deck of cards, some of the cheaper cards just cannot be fanned.

You could always wait for the Xtreme Beginners DVD to be released by De'vo.

There is an hour long fanning workshop on it that will show you every kind of fan you want to do.

Have a look here for a preview:

Of course, all of the above are excellent suggestions too.

Hope this helps,

I found the explanations in RRTCM were poor and not much help at all. Born To Perform was much better.

I have to say that the De'vo offering looks mightly good
