John Carney Books

Postby artychris » Nov 26th, '13, 21:30

I was lucky enough to be at a lecture by John Carney recently. He demonstrated and talked about some truly beautiful close up magic.

And I realized that I have none of his books in my "Magicians Private Library" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oh5Hk5XC_YM" target="_blank (gratuitous link to one of my favorite albums!)

As my parents (who don't know this yet), are going to be kind enough to get me one of his books for Christmas, I'd like to ask the vast knowledge that is Talk Magic, if you had to chose one of his books, which is the one???

Thanks in advance all! :)

I don't have any of his books so I can't comment. But his lecture was awesome and i went away thinking that i want to track down his books.
Did you go to see his 1 man show?

Also, if you don't mind ebooks (I prefer real books, but can't argue with the convenience of ebooks) L&L epub have a black friday sale on right now.
Their 20 best selling ebooks are on sale at $8.95 each.

John Carney's Carneycopia is included:

Mr FTHO!

That's superb! Thanks :) I have now downloaded it... and I got The Annoted Slydini as well...

(Yes, I'd rather the hard copy of the book, but at that price.... Just under £12 for the pair! I can't argue!)

Cheers :)

Chris
