Blind sight outdone by Devin Knight

Postby thetribeofBen » Nov 23rd, '13, 15:57

Hello everyone, im sorry if this is posted in a strange place, but I couldn't find this particular topic anywhere else, so here we are!!

I have a question for those that already own Devin Knight's 'Blind sight outdone', I am considering purchasing it for the brilliant effect, but also because I have an idea of a cross-over effect to do with the climax of revealing that the spectator had correctly guessed the colours in the envelopes, but more of a climax to do with other items in my routine.

so im asking you all if this effect can be done with ANYTHING in the envelopes? I want to put something different In them, but need to know the logistics before I spend my hard earned cash!! for example, when spec passes you the envelope that she thinks has the green(or whatever colour) in, I want the colour to correspond to another item I have in my show, so she is effectively predicting not only the colour but the object too (like in the envelope marked green is a picture of something and she has correctly guesses the colour of the item, etc....)

I have emailed Devin directly, but haven't had any reply yet, so I thought I would ask you guys seeing that some of you might have already worked this effect in your sets!

thanks for your help,

Ben.

I'm a bit sad that people have viewed my question, but not offered any assistance, but its all good because I received a message from Devin Knight and he has cleared up my query, it turns out that the effect can pretty much be done with ANYTHING in the envelopes, which is awesome and has totally re-sold me on buying this!! I will post my experience on utilising this brilliant piece of work and experimenting with adding my own twist to it!

If anyone has any feedback or anything to add, please please please don't hesitate.

Ben.

I think most people who viewed your question but didn't respond probably don't know the effect.

That's what it was in my case.

I'm glad you got an answer.

I too didn't know the effect. Glad it suits your purpose.
