I won't say this style is easy to do - it's not. But it's really centered on the use of perspective and depth. It's not an entirely original style, but it's a great one, nonetheless.
It's really a progression of the concept of Trompe L’oeil. Look back at some work by Magritte and other artists in that style, and you'll see where his method and thought process comes from.
Julian Beever has an astounding grasp on perspective and dimension - something that is often overlooked in todays' art world.
