absolutely yes, if you are not a total beginner...

if you are, better start whith daryl, Ammar or gerry griffin series.

Fat hands :-) Achermann explain in details a lot o tecniques. the effects , in the 4 dvd of this series i have, are not the best on the market, but these dvds are intended as an consultation encyclopedy, not as a trick presentation.

Allan Ackerman advanced card series 1 - 8

:D :) I am fairly new to card magic as well and started with the daryl and the Ammar DVD which I enjoyed but I wanted to lean the card controls not just tricks so I purchased one of the Ackerman series.
The intro music is a bit naff but I have found the DVD quite good plus there are a few tricks to practise your new found skills on at the end of the DVD.
On another posting I found this piece of advice ; skill level of DVD
Easy 3, 7,8 Moderate 1, 4, 5 Difficult 2, 6.
So far I have bought volume 4 and 5 but I am sure there are things for me to learn on the easy volumes on the presentation of the moves.
I would recommend these.
