I am convinced a few weeks ago there was an effect sold on World Magic Shop that was similar to Spike (the one where you avoid a large spike out of 3 or 5 wooden blocks that are covered with cups / bags), although used a tube of Polos under a brown paper bag, with the kicker being that actually, there was in fact a large spike running through the length of the Polos tube.

i have Googled and searched various magic shops, and it doesn't even come up on related items for Spike / Spike Sharpie Edition.

What is this effect called? I am pretty sure it was released by David Penn recently.

I used to use Spike and miss it, but thought going for a slightly different version would be less painful than simply purchasing the same effect again, in terms of tricking my wallet into justifying a purchase.
