The problem with such difficul request, might be that we loose some of the participants on the way :) But I agree, it's nice to have these ones as well... ;)

OK, with a lot of help from my good friend Mr.Bananafish:

The answer is Chan Canasta, the image is Imageand the connection with JSB is that he's on the 3 of Clubs of America's Most Wanted Cards set for which the link is (http://www.) amwcards.com/viewcards3.htm. Chan is holding that card in the photo.

Now over to Mr.B for the next question.....

Well, to keep the theme of puzzle questions - here's the next one (with Monsieur Mandrakes permission)

One photo, but a hatrick of magicians...
1. huge ex-president
2. aussy coin manipulator
3. sounds like he was wise before we knew who.

I suspect that this will be easier than the last one though...

So have I killed the thread? Is it simply too cryptic? or is everyone just getting very a long (and wet) weekend...

ok, perhaps on reflection I was unfair with the exact amount of crypticness. it's actually easier than it looks

(as said only by one that knows the answer)

[by the way I think any subcomments added to a post in small dark red letters shhould henceforth be known as a zahismatic note]

where was I? oh yes.

It's one photo of three people circa 1910-1920.

Everyone will have heard of one of the people
Most (I suspect) will have heard of one of the others, espcially in the last couple of years when he became re-popularised again.
..and the third, well frankly I doubt many would have heard of the third

Now off we go again - three people, one photo or was that three photo's of one parson?

Think need a blue pill :-)

Excellent stuff this, a thread that keeps on growing in stature,

Clue of the Day:

Magician 1. The huge ex president. xxxxxx xxx xxxxx
(it could be argued he had a brother called Alexander.)

Clue of the Day: 2

Magician 3. Well it's difficult to say much more about this guy without making it too easy. Look at the clue again.

[his name] sounds like he was wise before we knew [after it sounds like] whoxxxx

lol - I haven't a clue when it comes to clues do I!!!

That's annoying .

Think I have 1 and 2 but not 3 (i.e. I don't have wise-who).

I'll PM you...

However, I definitely can't find a picture of them together, let alone a third guy.
