Performed for a single person, this is good. For a small group, it kills. Make sure you do it somewhere quiet.

Focus on just one person in the group. Obviously pick the most attractive, but tell her it's because you consider her the most suggestible. Tell her you're going to make her see something that isn't there. Speak softly, as hypnotically as you can..
Ask her to close her eyes. Ask her to imagine a penny, an ordinary, 1992 English penny coin with with Queen's head on it (obviously you're describing your CU). Don't just say "Picture a penny" - really go to town. Spend some time, get her to really SEE the penny, the slight tarnish on the surface, get her to feel the heft of its weight, such as it is, , to taste the coppery mustiness of it and the dubious smell it may have from being in your pocket. Have that picture fully formed in her mind, until you're convinced she can see it...

Now tell her that she's so convinced she can see it, that when she opens her eyes in a moment, , she will be able to literally see it in the palm of your hand. DO NOT acknowledge the rest of the group as you hold out your palm and place your penny in it. Tell her to open her eyes. ASK her if she can see the penny. Ask her if she's sure. Now tell her that the image is so convincing, that even if you put a pound coin in your empty hand, she'll still be able to see the penny under it. Put a pound coin in your palm, such that she can still see the penny. (Do so very gently, so as not to make a noise). Confirm that she can still see the penny.

Now do three things at once:
1. With your free hand, click your fingers. Don't obscure her view of your hand, click them up in the air near her ear.
2. Firmly and loudly say "WAKE UP".
3. Vanish the penny from your open palm.

Leave the pound coin in your open palm. If she doesn't immediately pick it up (and she often will), gently turn it over with a fingertip of your other hand. Then pocket it.

This kills because the subject is often convinced that what you've just done is not coin magic but hypnosis. She's not even LOOKING for where the penny went because she's not 100% sure it was ever there in the first place.

It also kills because everyone else in the group assumes, at first, that what they're seeing is coin magic, because they can see the coin and they're not "being hypnotised". But when they ask you what happened to the penny, remain adamant that there never was one. If they insist they saw it, act pleased, and say "You really saw it? That's great! I can hardly ever get it to work on more than one person at once. You must have a really excellent visual imagination."

Takes the heat of where the penny went entirely, because the question then becomes "was it ever there at all?".

I commend this presentation to anyone who wishes to use it, and hope your results are as gratifying as mine have been.
