Greetings Fellow Wizards,

I never thought that just idley surfing around various magic sites could eventually result in finding the absolute gem that is Talkmagic!

My name is Lester and I have had a life long love of magic. I started, as is the case with countless others, by receiving a David Nixon Magic Box (this dates me!) as a Christmas present from an Aunt and Uncle at the age of 9 and that was it, I was hooked!

I went on to do lots of concert party work etc. and discovered the delights of all the then London dealers such as Ken Brooke, Harry Stanley and dear old Oscar Oswald (Ye Gods! how's this for a trip down memory lane!).

For a variety of reasons, I went through quite a protracted absence from the magic scene but I'm back in the fold, having never really left it and glad to say that this old dog, 52, wants to learn new tricks.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Lester

Greetings not so old a dog!

52 is yesterday's 35 according to current thinking so no problem there!

Welcome to the site for someone equally aged,

Vic

Greetings Lester - as a similarly aged canine, I can recommend a very good liniment for old aching bones!

Hello Lester and Welcome!

You're NEVER too old to learn new tricks!

welcome to the forum Lester... where in Scotland are you?

Just read the label, you're supposed to rub it on not drink it, but don't think I can stop now - love that tastes :-),
