Review

This is a great effect and well worth the small amount they are asking for plus shipping from the states.

You get the 4 pins necessary for the effect and nicely presented instructions

The routine uses normal everyday objects that are easy to transport allowing you to perform strong magic that is done right under the spectators nose.

The props are good quality large pins and should last a lifetime

The instructions are very clear - easy to follow with nice photos - really well presented. It not only goes throught the 9 phase routine but also gives you some additional and alternative sequences. There is even more material via their web site using some "passwords" available via the manual.

It does take alot of practise to maximise the impact of this routine. I have been sat in front of the mirror for about 1 week trying to perfect some of the moves - but so far the reactions from family and close friends ahs been great

Overall

As I said before this is a great effect and well worth the small amount they are asking. I have the Ninja Rings set and Sankey's 3 ring circus set and still feel i have invested my money in something i know I'm going to use and that will get great reactions.

So simple but sooooo strong

I have been playing with this for a little bit, and I can say I am very satisfied with the routine and what you recieve. It does take practice though to get it to link smoothly, however im sure most of you guys will have no trouble.

Are the safety pins that come with the booklet ordinary safety pins, or are they gimmicked? I'm asking because if this is a routine that you can do with ordinary pins, then I'll consider it more worthwhile.

Gimmicked.

And ordinary as well. There's a process (fully explained and easy peasy) which you go through to make them different to regular pins. One additional pin is already special in a different way.

The routine works well. I have used it with borrowed safty pins. Then handed them back and just walked away. Leaving the individual exaimining the pins.

I just received my Dreamweaver package today. It is so simple I could kick myself for not having thought of it myself.

I haven't studied all the effects, but from what I can tell so far, I'd say you're safest facing the spectators and being at least three feet away.

I saw this performed on secret world of magic and went straight out to buy it.
It's very easy to learn and a fantastic trick to perform. It now has a permenant place in my wallet. It's always set up and ready to go and it blows people away with each phase of the routine.

I have had a little problem with the gimmick though recently (probably through over - use) but it was nothing that a bit bit of fiddling about with superglue couldn't sort out.

I have one problem with Dreamweaver: One of the items are special. If you lose that one by accidentally mixing it up with other items or just dropping it, then you also lose part of the effect of Dreamweaver.

I bought this some months ago on the strength of the online video demonstrations. (See links earlier in the review thread). As with any really good piece of kit, its simplicity is it's most devastating asset. It's one of those "tricks" that gets taken out of the box with a sense of excitement and wonder, only to be swiftly replaced with a strong sense of "WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT!".

This is one of the rare packages I've received through the post that has a sense of real QUALITY about it. The instructional booklet is of the highest standard and is so clearly explained that even an old duffer like me can understand it.

In essence it is an absolutely blinding series of effects using safety pins. Aspects of it can even be "borrowed" to combine with some old favourites to create a stronger routine using completely ungaffed safety pins.

Anyone with a love of close-up magic will, I'm sure, like this emmensely.
