Hi all,

Just joined, thought I should probably introduce myself! I'm an amateur from Oxford, mainly interested in sleight-of-hand and magic with cards, but also a little mentalism can't hurt!
I started about 3-4 years ago while bored at Uni. I'd always been interested in magic and figured I might as well pick up a deck and see what I can learn!
I haven't often performed for people yet, although it's definitely on the horizon! I'm not particularly interested in becoming a full-time paid magician; I only started learning to pick up a skill and actually have a hobby...

So, will be great to chat with like-minded people and join the get-togethers in Headington soon

Welcome on board, and glad to see you found the thread about the meetup in Headington (which consists of just three of us, right now, although we're aware of at least one other Oxford-based magician on this forum...). Did you make it to the Ashmo's magic event, the other month (I ask as it's just around the corner from where you work)?
