Well the only visible thing I can see are the counts. I'm no media expert but it doesn't look as if the film is cut in any way to edit the change of packet. Really, really interesting.

My thoughts exactly.

First thing I thought when he was counting the cards was E*****y count, but that doesn't help explain a single thing.

Each time the pack is discarded it sets up - just as in an E*****y count - the next revelation........probably totally wrong but that's one theory.

Peter Pellikaan has a website where he sells downloads of his tricks; I bought a couple off him. He has some really unusual and interesting stuff. The site seems to be down at the moment, I'm not sure for how long.

Peter is just an absolute legend. I have seen him do things no others can. I often don't want to know because I love being fooled.

He is a machine. lol

I'd definitely buy those downloads. The effect is fantastic. Shown my wife the youtube video and she was totally bemused.

Brilliant and it totally had me fooled. Then I remembered something and on my fifth run through I saw what it was. I only know this because I was once performing an effect at a magic convention and Martin Gardner happened to be watching and he showed me a little something which would help with the effect. Mr. Gardner could not actually demonstrate the move convincingly and I never have been able to either. And now here I sit watching it to perfection. Absolutly wonderful.

I don't mind not being able to perform a certain move, etc ..... it's the not knowing, that winds me up .... and if there's no camera trickery involved in this (which I doubt there is) .... I am well and truly out of ideas - apart from the previously mentioned lapping, which I also doubt it is

That's pretty beautiful. Clearly, as others have noted, a combination of an E****** C**** and a very swish ditch, but I had to go through frame-by-frame before I was sure. Wow.
