This isn't exposure, but can anyone tell me a method to make cards shimmed (eg. make them magnetic) ?

I won't tell you too much here, but there are several ways. You can buy them - or you can create them yourself. What you need, is really thin material (magnets), which can be found out there. You need to split your card somehow, and re-glue it. I've found it easier to just buy them, they look marvellous.
