Hey folks,

I'm up north, rather remote on the west coast kind of near Oban, Argyll and Bute. I'm really wanting to meet some more magicians and hang out a bit as I'm sure this can only help me relax into things a bit more and not be quite so nervous when I'm performing, perhaps, and just to get some more practical tips and advice, have some fun and learn some new tricks face to face with the like minded and be able to share stuff without giving it away if you catch my drift.

Does anyone know of anywhere near me where magicians meet up? I've a feeling it'd probably somewhere in glasgow or edinbutgh but that's cool. I have a friend or two in both places and could always stay the night with them if I were going to an evening thing.

Any ideas much appreciated!

There are societies/clubs meeting in Glasgow (The Scottish Conjurers Association, the Glasgow Magic Circle) and Edinburgh (The Edinburgh Magic Circle). Others in the area include Magic Circles in Paisley, West Lothian, Kilmarnock, Perth, and my club in the Forth Valley.
There's The Glasgow Session - a "closed" group on Facebook which has had a couple of meet-ups so far, though I couldn't make it along to these so don't
know any more than I see posted on fb.
