Mandrake, what did you think of this?

For me, there was some decent stuff on here, but nothing that grabbed my like the first two instalments.

To be honest, I gave it a quick view but, due to other circumstances, didn't go back and view it again. However, your post has reminded me that I need to check it out properly so will do when I get back from hols next week. :D

It's reminded me to rewatch it... Hopefully something will jump out at me a bit more!

Sometimes a second look after some time shows possibility missed the first time around. Last year I 'won' a cheapo box of magic tricks, really naff brittle plastic stuff worth about 50p and immediately consigned to the 'Forgettit' drawer. However I just found it again and there's one little gimmick in there which I now find works extremely well. Three one pound coins are placed in a small cup on the palm of the hand, an indication is made that these coins will be placed on the back and penetrate right through. Transferring the cup to the back of the hand there's a count of 'one, two, three' and the three coins drop right through. The cup is shown to now be empty. Easy peasy, just uses one 'move' and the audience's focus on the dropped coins. Coins can be borrowed and even marked if done carefully. The rest of the stuff in the box is still totally naff !
