Where is it possible to learn the Arnaud version - or is this an unpublished routine?

Note: I post here because mog's version seems mysteriously to have vanished :S.

I do not believe he has published his version, but again, by watching his version and knowing and recognizing the moves, you should be able to perform it yourself. You might have some problems with the last vanish... ?!

Hippie, Arnauds version is not rigged. If by rigged you mean he uses R/S cards.

Rcarlson,
The last vanish is not that difficult. It is just about doing it smoothly. Having said that It took me quite a time to perfect the handling of the cards in order to do the effect smoothly and passable. I still practice this routine daily in order to really polish my handling of this effect. This is also a favorite of mine.

Yes, I know now. I have seen his explanation video, and it's great (eventhough I don't understand too much frensh, hehe). Having said that, the effect of his last vanish is great, but having thought of it hundreds of times, I have decided NOT to practice/perform that vanish, as it is far from clean. Let's say you are doing table-walk-magic or impromptu magic, wherever you are, I would never do that vanish. There are quite some other choices to go for, which are both fun and nice. I don't know if you have seen the live invisible palm routine that was added on MVD not too long ago, - with this "palm to palm transfer" ending. For me, that's a much better ending. It adds humour to the end, as well as a high level of "wow". Having said that, I am currently working on my own twist of an end of the invisible palm routine. Will be posted shortly.

Would you be willing to let me in on some of the other choices you mention in the above post? I ask this because I'm in a wheelchair and the method I use for the last vanish is not always possible. Because of this limitation I don't always perform the Invisible Palm, much to my dismay because this is a favorite of mine. Also what is the name of the author that submitted the video of the invisible palm that you mention is on MVD? I would like to see his last vanish.

thanks edh

just a little point... Dai Vernons "hand washing" move could be used for the last vanish its found on one of the "Vernin revelations" dvds (vol 8 i think)

Ok just seen the video of Ebaumsworld of this effect. What dvd or book do i need to buy to be able to learn it? And also, is it easy to learn? And does the book/dvd come with more effects that can be learnt?

Sorry for the rush of questions! I saw this vid, wanted it, tried to learn it, got confused (i have a limited knowledge of slights), gave up, decided i want the book instead!!

Thanks, Rich

I think Larry Jenings has it onone of his dvds...but you better wait for the other ones to answer your question as I'm not sure...

This version is from Paul Harris' Art of Astonishmnet series (well worth buying all three) but I can't remember which volume off the top of my head. I'll get back to you with it.

All the best,

I love this effect. I figured it out without too much trouble and have amazed a good number of people with it.

The one thing I'm confused about though is all these names been thrown around? Who is the guy in the Ebaums World video? Is that Arnaud Chevrier? Or is he at least performing Arnauds version of the trick? I'm so confused.

I've noticed no-one has tried to figure the link between the music and the video yet. Is it the invisible palm to a tuneful backing of the invisible band (travis)? Do i get my 5 points or am i way off?
