Spooning

For those of you who are into bending...(ahem)...

Check out Morrisons supermarkets. They sell a blister pack of 6 x "Stainless steel" spoons for .79p

I found these easy to bend and plentiful enough to practice and destroy with impunity. I can't remember the price but I would guess that the forks they sell in the same type of pack would be equally as inexpensive.

Tom - are there 6 forks in a pack or the usual 4?

I've frequently used Morrison forks and they've been pretty decent for bending but the last two batches that I had were VERY poor. I found that the fork just snapped when doing the corkscrew as the metal was a little too brittle, despite still being soft.

I may need to give them another go

Asda forks are the best I;ve found and also consistent

There might be 4 (forks) only. I know there are 6 spoons but that's not to say the same number of forks per pack...fair point..I didn't look or indeed buy any.

Has anyone checked "Makro" or the other cash and carrys? Knowing them they would sell them by the gross!

At those prices one could set a whole partys worth of place settings just for the oppertunistic bend chance!

I would even go so far as to sticking a few spoons (elastic banded together) into a jacket pocket on a trip out for lunch or dinner and switch them as needed!
