Well my name is Jim Walker, I'm from northeastern PA.
I'm not really too much into magic (although I wish I could be; and maybe I will be soon?)
But I mainly do webdesign and hosting stuff, and I'm big into drawing and art.

Anyway, I hope I can stick around with you guys and eventualy contribute something :)

Thanks for having me!
-Jimmy

Oh wow!
This is a question I can kinda answer :P

I love close up magic, I love things that can afterwards be examined by the person your doing the trick on afterwards. I also love the effect that Scoth and Soda has, although I know its simple, I still like it.

I also love card tricks that are not over done with fancy shuffles and that extreme card manipulation stuff. I mean sure, its cool and really amazing but I know I would never be able to do it or even keep track of what is going on.

With card tricks I like when people use that snap technique and then their card appears. I like a lot of straight foraward stuff that still elaves a nice impression.

And thanks for the welcome agian :)

Thanks alot agian guys for the welcome :)

I just purchased Oz Pearlmen's Snap and Rengade videos odd their site and I'm trying to get them down.
I have a question I'm not sure if I can ask or not, but here it goes:
Any tips for DL? or Double cut force?
Just curious, and yes I thin ki'm going to buy Born to Perform as soon as I can :)

Thanks a lot!

Hope that piece of advice was at least somewhat helpful but as I am a noob, it might be dumb.

As for the DL.....many tips, but the best one I can give is practice, patience, and persistance......many of the moves I use are modified to suit my needs and dexterity, so they do not have to be done "a specific way"

I too like the scotch and soda, yes it is simple, but remeber..............

Never be afraid of simple......it is often a myth that complicated means better. It is all about the effect the spectator gets, not the good feeling the performer gets having done something complex.
