I love him. I certainly think he is one of the most creative minds in magic. I like EVERY one of his tricks. He never fails to impress. In Dear Mr Fantasy, he writes in a clear and easy-to-follow manor, which makes it very easy to learn.
My favourites from him are:
Beyond Fabulous
Twisted Sisters
Dead Reckoning
Interrobang Aces
There are many more.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

The best thing about Bannon is that when you finish reading an effect, you think 'That cannot possibly work.'
Impossibilia is wonderful....
Dead Reckoning is sublime....

His first 2 full size books Impossibilia and Smoke and Mirrors are masterpieces. I like them better because they have more than just cards and most of the effects are reasonably easy to do--with a giant kick in the face ending.
