Hi all,

I'm Jamie, I live in London, and I've just returned to magic after an absence of four years...I'm getting better al the time, and I think the best decision I ever made was returning to the basics.

Recently I bought 3 books: Expert Card Magic, Hugard and Braue; Bobo's Coin Magic; and Corinda's 13 Steps to Mentalism. I've looked at the books a bit, whenever I can find the time. Can anyone suggest any other useful books? And does anyone on here know much about coin magic because I am a complete beginner when it comes to this and am really going to need some help!

Nice to meet you all!

Welcome to TM!

From what I've heard, Bobo's is the bible of coin magic!

I'm not an expert on coin magic as I started doing it about 6 month's ago but I think I konw enough to help you out if you have questions, and if I don't know the answer I may know where to find it...
And I know of all difficulties a coin magican have in the beginning ;)
Just PM me if you have questions.

Welcome to TM. If you have enough Money then I would buy David Roths DVD's on coin magic as they are a great referance to some of the moves covered in Bobos book. They also show moves from various angles and go through some great routines. Spellbound is a grest piece of coin magic for antone to learn.

Hi and welcome! I've not been on these forums much nor for very long but in my limited time here I've found everyone to be very friendly so I'm sure you'll have no trouble getting help when you need it!

I personally find Bobo's book extremely helpful though I think in future I might splash out a bit more for DVDs since I sometimes struggle to grasp a maneuvre with still pictures alone for reference. Hope you can find some help in there somewhere!
