First of all some a introduction I’m 32 and my names Paul and I’m from Watford. I have been reading the post on here for a number of weeks so thought it was time to come out of the shadows. I have been interested in magic for a long time. I have studied and played around with allsorts of magic from cards to rubber bands to mentalism. I have never really performed a complete magic show or a non complete one for that matter. But I have performed ( I use the term lightly) pieces of magic or tricks in a .number of different situations.

From a talk about ESP in my English oral exam which was basically one long trick. ( I would recommend this to any of the younger forum members as for next year my English teacher spent all his time bugging me wanted to know how it worked. Which might explain my poor spelling and grammar to which I apologise in advance) To once using the ‘Knife through the Arm’ whilst teaching First Aid (this didn’t go as well as I had hoped as one of the girls fainted at the sight of the fake blood and we hadn’t covered that yet)

I have run children clubs /entertainments/ sports for a number of years but never directly magic but doing the occasional trick to break up what we were doing. But I notice reading a number of posts on here that people are being asked to put on children’s shows or parties that are more then just magic. This is the area I have lots of knowledge and experience in from different games/ activities to just organising the children. I would be happy to give out any help in this area I can.

I look forward to learning new things from the people on here and sharing any ideas or knowledge that I have.
