You do realise they've drawn you diamond pips for the ace of spades?

If you don't mind me asking, why did you get that done? i.e. do you have an idea for using it or is it purely becasue you like it?

All the best,

Well goldfish theres a couple of reasons why I got this done is 1 is I like to show something off while I do street magic. and I want to prove I live for magic.

And by the way they haven't drawn diamond for pips there spades it just it looks a bit blerry on camera. just look closer at it

Here's a close picture of it

You see, to get the message across about 'living for magic,' I think I'd have chosen a magic wand, or a picture of Houdini or even a fanned deck with a hand choosing a card from the fan.

The Ace of Spades could mean a whole load of other things, including you're a fan of Motorhead (ask Mandrake to explain), you play poker a lot or you're a member of some kind of mean motorcycle club or something. :)

I think I'd have just spent the money on a copy of 'Strong Magic' by Darwin Ortiz...

Craig,

The first picture is different to the second picture.

The first picture clearly shows diamond pips yet the second picture is from a different source and shows a spade pip.

I have enhanced the first picture and it clearly shows a diamond pip, the second picture shows a spade pip but the skin blemishes surrounding the pips are not the same indicating that the two images are not from the same person.

Or not from the same tatoo.

I can post the enhanced images if you want.

 What an odd thing to argue about.
Why would someone start an argument about the details of a tatoo with the guy who owns the tatoo, especially if all you have to go on is a couple of blurry photos.

I'm with Zack on this one...

Why the Ace of Spades? It's got a lot of dark, forboding undertones which are far from synonymous with 'LIVING for magic'.

And, sorry to say, but it's not even an attractive Ace of Spades. The Ace of Spades is usually the most decorative of all the pip cards, and yet yours is oddly 'dull'.

Oh well, I'm not a great fan of tatoos anyway. Fine while you're young and full of joi de vivre, but slightly less appealing when you're married with kids in the local pool.

But good luck with getting Houdini on your back. Personally, as stated, I'd prefer to have invested the money and TIME on learning to PROVE that I LIVE for MAGIC.

Perhaps a load of magic cards all over the body would provide a sort of human 'ID' ?

Hmmmm... let's hope the novelty of magic and tattoos doesn't wear off... a black tattoo is for life, not just for August.

Personally, I would go for as many cards as is reasonable.

Imagine the look on peoples faces as you performed the most amazing card revelations!

Kolossal Killer on skin!

WAIT....

Kolossal Kidney!

Hairloom!

Epidermic!

Pore-tense!

Hide-and-seek!

Now Tom, you're onto something...

One solitary card ain't much use when after all, you have all that space spare! (The skin is the largest organ on the human body!)

So, you could have an entire deck of cards over the back and chest... this would give ample 'outs' if a trick goes wrong.

Over the arms and legs, hows about tattooing 'hot rods' on the legs (hey, it might work?!?!?!) and you could have twisted skin simulated on the arms for the Twisting Arms Illusion.

Wow! What about two bunnies on your 'buns'? You could do 'rabbit out of the pants'!!!

Now... just a couple of items left to tattoo... Sponge Balls and Magic Wand...

Just think though - you could always be set up for the card on forehead effect. (although you may have to wear a hat at the beginning to hide it).

or how about a new version of the Phil deck. Think of any card. You were thinking of...(pause for effect) the left buttock right? No. what card? the sevon of diamionds? that's what I though, you will notice my whole body is covered with cards, bt on my left buttock...

It is the same tattoo its just the first picture the pips does look like diamond but really there not. There spades. Its just a bit blurry on the camera. this is why I've took the second picture a close up to the pips

and the two pictures are the same tattoo

believe me if they did put diamond for the pips I'll be straight back there to complain
