Hello fellow magicians from the UK and beyond !

I'm a french "not so young" student in magic art. After practicing in occult art at the UU (unseen university / Ankh Morpok / Discworld / A'Tuin / The universe ), I rejoined the real world where a deck of Tally ho cards was waiting for me like an invitation.

Behind the deck, there was a french cartoman named Bebel. From the day I met him, I knew I had to work, again, more, even more, a lot more, ...

So I trained myself, taking advices from magical encounters I made : Mimosa, Boris Wild, and some others whose name I shan't tell...

Now, I'm here, riding the electronic flux to visit the virtual word and find better places to talk magic, to learn magic, to share magic with others.

I wish you all, dear gentlemen, a most pleasant evening

Magically yours

Rogn 8)

PS: Forgive me, I'm french... (but it could have been worse  )

Used to take french in middle school but had to change in high school to spanish, seeing as my HS didnt have french. That means: Hello and welcome to talk magic. Then something something before to discuss magic with you.

Thank you all for your warm welcome !

I already feel at home 8)

Have a drink on me, beer for the braves and a hot cup of tea for the youngsters ! (sorry pals, no pepsi, no coke in here, only natural things  )
White wine is also available for the ladies on special request :)

To be quite honnest, I registered weeks before my first post, but at that time I was only speaking french "und ein bischen Deutsch", so I read all your great reviews and learn of a lot from them. I also read a lot of Terry Pratchett's books as some of you may have noticed.

Seriously, I'm a real fan of your countries and culture (UK, IRL, USA, CAN, AUS, NZ,...) and all the nice people who live there :)

I will try to do my best to participate to this forum and to share with you some magic news from France.

Cheers

Rogn are you a Genesis fan, i noticed the 'and the Rogn lies down on talkmagic' is that a reference to 'Lamb lies down on Broadway' album

Absolutely ! 8)
I learned english listening to Prog Rock music when I was a kid !

And I'm still listening to it "now and then" "huddled in the safety of a pseudo silk kimono" driving my "Red Barchetta" "in the court of the crimson king".

"Tempus fugit"

Rogn 8)

Some more references to play the game : "what kind of music does he like ?"
hint : I know what I like...

Aaahhh Kraftwerk, one of the first single I bought was Radioactivity :)
I also love Loreena McKennitt, Tangerine Dream, and so many other...

But I really want to praise a canadian group name "The Musical Box", they recreate Genesis shows (Gabriel era) to perfection, they are now touring the world with "The Lamb" (they were in europe last winter) and they're the best thing for us Genesis fans. have a look at their site : http://www.themusicalbox.org

c ya !
