A hello from AJ

Postby ajthegreat » Aug 21st, '05, 14:00

Hello,
My performing name is AJ (I add "The Great" sometimes), and I have been on these forums before. Long before infact. But a friend (Rune Carlsen) advised me to join once again, and here I am :).

I do magic plainly as a hobby currently. Its a great hobby to have. I am into cards, coins, ropes, handkercheifs, and almost anything that I can get my hands on. I have a comprehensive library, ranging from the classics like Modern Coin Magic, Royal Road to Card Magic, to some not so well known books like books by Harry Baron and Sam Dalal.

I will try to interact with the forums as often as I can. Thats all :D

Welcome AJ and if your card skills are half as good as Rune's are then we will definatley look forward to reading, and particularly watching your posts.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Thank you both for the welcome :).

I used to be a very active member on MagicVideoDepot.com, but then due to other work in my daily life, I became slightly less active there.

But I am already feeling at home here, so lets hope I stay active here for a long time :).

Once again, thanks for the welcome. I am now browsing through the forums...

Of experience, if you drop out of magic forums etc, never drop out of magic. It's so easy to drop it a few days, and it becomes weeks, and soon months. Try to have your cards (if you are a card magician) with you at all times. If that's hard, at least keep a deck at your toilet :) You'll always drop by there once in a while. I know work can be a killer for hobbies, but the last years I have figured out that, work is not worth dropping and loosing hobbies. So, stay with us and your magic, for ever and ever :)
