Review
Well I've had this for a few days now, and been quite surprised by the simplicity of some of the routines possible (as normal, Im surprised how simple some tricks are when they used to blow me away on TV).

The gimmick is quite long, but it does contain some intesting technology. Its simple to operate and easily conceled. I did have a bit of discomfort when using it, and this could be overcome with a bit of foam padding.

It is quite expensive, but this sort of technology doesnt come cheap.

In the box you get the gimmick, a DVD with operating instructions and a few routines, and some pre-prepared material for the £10 note trick.

Theres also a link to a website on the DVD.

Overall

Very good, but expensive. Can freak people out (which always makes me smile). The only drawback is the discomfot mentioned earlier.

It could also be difficult to ditch the gimmick, but you dont really need to unless you got another trick to perform that requires a similar setup.

And I cant wait to try out the Watch routine.
9 out of 10 (-1 for the pain 8) )

I bought one about two months ago and found it very easy to use. I agree that it can be a little uncomfortable and thought it would smaller, but it is easy to hide.

It works well and does what it says on the tin. There is however still part of me that is disappointed by it. Whether I was expecting something more for that price or whether it feels too much like cheating I don't know.

The DVD is good. I'm going to do the nail routine next which is where you have a long sharp nail pointing upwards (held up on blu-tack perhaps). You then have 5 plastic cups, and ask the audience to put the nail under one of them. You then slam your hand down, crushing 4 of the cups, except the one covering the nail, saving you from permanent stigmata.

I'll keep it for now. I did a bet with £500 the other day so I have learnt to trust it.

Hi Rob

Gosh that sounds expensive but I suppose you get what you pay for.

could you tell me a bit more about the routines that are possible with this item please?

And what skill level is needed.

Thank you

It is easy, you can use it within 5 minutes. No skill at all really. You just need to be a good actor.

You can have an envelope with £10 in and another with a card with the word 'lose' written on it. Get a person to mix the envelopes and put them on a table or just on their hands. You will predict which one has the money every time.

Have 5 plastic cups and get someone to put their watch under one of them without you looking. You can then smash all the cups with a hammer, except the one with the watch.

Do you need to be in physical contact with the person?

Also can you use this for blind fold work etc. ?

No, not as such but it does help.

Also can you use this for blind fold work etc. ?

(Original question removed by Mods, see above)

I think that to answer this would be giving too much away.

Would someone mind sending me a PM on what this device is and how it works ?

I am just worried that it is very expensive for what it is. It is a lot of money to spend without knowing what you are getting.

OK, I now know what it is and how it works. My suspicions were correct.

However, how easy is it to conceal this ? I am assuming you would have to be wearing long sleeves.

People are saying it is quite big so I am assuming it is quite difficult to hide.

i would think that noone is going to tell you how it works.. but if you really wanted to spend this much money on an effect id suggest looking at the website by the creator of the effect first to see if it would suit your needs?

If your doing a profesional show and dressed as you would normally dress etc. then it's not at all difficult to hide or perform. Other than that I suggest buy the product like everyone else has to. Personally I have 2 of them.

I still dont think the price is justified, there site tells you pretty much all you need to know about it, I could go and buy *something a similar size that is ment for a different job and make one small modification an have a version of this for under a tenner. :?

Im probably gonna get flamed for posting this and I wont go and make one but im just saying £200 is a lot of money £50 would be a fairish price (with the dvd)
