Your favourite force?

Postby rcarlsen » Sep 11th, '05, 13:34

For a long time, I have been using the riffle force, both because it's easy to do, and because it seems to be pretty convincing.

But now, after practicing what Sankey sometimes calls the "Turnover force", I have found my new favourite. It's SO clean, and it's almost like a classic force, just with a turnover added, which do the magic for you. It takes some practice, but hey, if you dream of doing the classic one, but find it too difficult, go for the turnover force. It's soo great.

What's yours?

I'm not really good at forcing a card, so most tricks i do don't need forced cards.

Usually when i need to force a card, i go for the riffle force.
Most people won't notice, when i don't need to force a card i often still riffle through the deck and let them say stop anywhere, so people are used to that move from me.

Sometimes i use a fan to force a card, but i don't know the proper name for it. I saw someone do it on stage with giant cards once, so i borrowed his move and use it with normal cards.

I use the classic force whenever I can, because that's how I have a card selected normally. However, if I think the spectator is going to be difficult or I'm trying to hide something  , I'll use the riffle force because it also looks very natural and is covered perfectly.

All the best,
