A question on Windows Media Player

Postby Blade Master » Sep 11th, '05, 23:43

:) I happen to be a Mac user who prefers Quicktime, but I do have WMP which is nice because I can watch all videos. But I have a major problem with it that maybe some of you computer guys could help me with. Whenever I watch a video, Fastforward, Rewind, Skip, and Pause buttons are greyed out and won't allow me to use them. Why!

This is usualy the case when "streaming" a video from a remote server. If the File is stored on your system and you are still having this problem it is more than likley due to the compression format of the video ... is it WMN, .mov, .avi?
