Nice bud ... works well with the different coloured cards ...

one small criticism .. which i find myself doing all the time is as a do the change ... my entire body jolts and wobbles .... takes focus off of the card change a little ... but other than that it was a job well done.

Rob - Welcome to TM too.

Haha, i clicked on the link and media player opened, but there was an error with the video! Your snap change was just a blueish whirly thing with music and the sound of a snap change over the top! Its probably my ancient computer having an anti-magic moment.

Well, the change was good, although I'd like to see the opening and closing as well - i.e. you can't really show the change just plain like that to an audience without some work on the clean-up after.

My main problem with the video was the length though. It was 16 seconds long, of which 2 was the snap change and the remainder was an ad for your website. Maybe show some more snap changes, some other possibilities, slo-mo, and take off all the loooong ads?

Thanks for the critiques. Your right, i should have shown the intro and clean up. My intro still needs some polishing up. I wish i could nail the move I saw on one of Oz's videos where he flings two cards as one from one hand to another, it was a slick move which would leave no doubt in the audiences mind that it is only one card. Not sure if there is a name for it.

Cheers.

That flicking move is taught on Oz's Stealing Pips, on the Bertram Change video. IMO, the Bertram Change can be even more visual than the snap change and the clean up is better.

I advise you to learn how to flick around 20 cards together from one hand to another first because that will help develop the knack to get the cards into the other hand and perfect landing. With enough practice, you also won't need the concavity taught on the Bertram Change video.

Good Snap Change but as Katriel said, show an introduction and a clean up! And less ads...

The flick between the hands was originaly from a routine called "Instant Replay" i believe ... David Blaine did an interpratation of it on his street magic film.

Its really quite easy ... just need to get the grip right. and then practice a little ... also, not one for ding outside in the wind. lol

Yup! Paul Harris' Instant Replay. Or Lennant Green's Top Shot is another cool move if you're into Instant Replay. Haven't learnt it though.
