Tom's stuff comes in two shades but they will both need to be dusted with powder to remove the adhesive surface when you've applied enough for the effect. At this point you'll need to apply make-up to conceal the skin and ordinary cosmetics are not really up to the job unless you know what you're doing. Stage & TV makeup/greasepaint can be used to cover almost anything so will do the job but may look out of place in real life.

Unless you specialize in Boy George impressions in which case you'll have no problems.

I believe Tom has been away for a few days so may be ploughing through the backlog of postings at some point. With any luck, he'll explain more. Or maybe not!

could liquid skin be used, for example, for concealing a small magnet under the thumb - to help with a spinning rings effect?

i am guessing here, but if you have a magnet under a layer of latex, the latex will be pulled away from the skin as the magnet is drawn towards the metal object.

would depend on the strength of the magnet... doesnt have to be strong for spinning rings, plus if your holding the ring anyways its not going to stretch and rather than pull it straight away from your finger after the effect is done, sliding it would be less noticable, failing that i'll sell you a neo magnetic TT for a fiver... hehe

I'm only talking about an ultra small and not very powerful magnet here - just something really small that can be used for a spinning (small) rings effect.

To be honest, it doesn't really require liquid skin at all, as the magnet is held in place between thumb and index finger - as is one of the rings.

I was just wondering if I covered the magnet with liquid skin if it would be more invisible for showing empty hands afterwards.

or I could of course just stick to using a bat - and have nothing in my hands...
