This isn't my best performance at the Matrix, but here it is:

Coin Matrix

What do you think?

Good, but don't place the loaded card dwon, dump the other card, pick up the next card. It gives the method away. Try this:

Make the coin travel,
ditch the spare card,
pick up a new card,
show coin,
cover coin,
make the coin travel,
repeat ad nauseum.

I hope that makes sense.

Show us another version once you've practised it. :)

All the best,

Will Wood

This is similar to a video posted a short while ago.

I won't comment on the matrix, as I'm sure Goldfish will help you with that. But what I would recommend is getting yourself a decent performance mat, rather than doing your tricks knelt down on the living room carpet.

There's a thread on here about making your own mat, or you could buy one. They aren't that expensive, and they will add a certain professionalism to your future performances.

Well done on the trick, keep up the good work!

Ok, the way you're doing it at the moment you pick up the cards, make the coin travel from one card to the other and then immediately put the loaded coin down in readiness for the next travelling coin. All I'm saying is that you shouldn't do that. Just show the coin ahs travelled and hold on to the loaded coin until you make the next coin travel. That way you can show both groups of coins before you make the coin travel. If you carry on doing it the way you are at the moment you are tipping the secret.

All the best,

OK, I get it now thanks GoldFish.

It's actually my bedroom's carpet, but I won't bother about your mistake :D

Yeh I know I need to get one, but I don't have any money to buy one. I'll have a look for that thread you were talking about. Do have an idea what section it might be in?

Here you go

http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic7076.php

in Support and Tips.

Also, to answer your question in another thread, the (29:AH) things under people's names let people know how old you are, and your skill level.

Read the stickies on posting intros, it's all detailed in there.
