£20 to spend....

Postby dfitz1000 » Sep 24th, '05, 12:21

Hi guys.
I have £20 in my paypal account. Does anybody have any
suggestions as to what I should buy? I'm into anything
mentalist-ey (not predictions) and card magic.

What level of skill do you have and what do you have at the moment, without posting too long a list?

Well, I have more or less the basics.
Royal road, and Born to Perform, 13 steps to Mentalism and Practical Mental Magic, and David Roth Expert Coin Magic book.
I'd also like to try something new, like sponge balls or cups and balls, I've never really done much magic outside of cards, coins and mentalism, except Mercuring and a few others.

If you want to go down the sponge route, then I'd highly recommend buying Goshmann's Sponge Rabbits as endorsed by Michael Ammar.

They are a great introduction to sponge magic, come with a great routine and work brilliantly for kids. They can be slightly more rude, if necessary, for a more adult performace, too.

Best £15 I've spent so far, I reckon.

I'd agree with Zack.
