Hmm, it's not quite as easy as you seem to think it is. You will be doing magic no favours by spending £500 and with no stage experience leaping out into the real world with your brand new act. By the way £500 is peanuts, I spend £750 a few weeks ago on one stage effect, for a 5 minute part of the act.
I suggest you join a local club, you will get the chance to perform in front of others and meet up with like minded people. You are far more likely to find someone you can work with and you should get the opportunity to practise your act and hone it until it's ready for a paid audience.
