Got tickets to go and see Geoffrey Durham on Thursday 29th September, front row to boot! Really looking forward to it. Taking my other half who is also quite excited. Last show we went to see was Jerry Sadowitz so I guess this will be rather different. Ill let you know how it goes if anyone is interested?

P.s. Going into London During the day aswell to visit International Magic. Got a very long list. I can feel a bout of CUPS coming on. I am so lucky she is very understanding.

P.p.s. Got 5 days away from the office aswell! Longest break for 3 years. YAY! :D

Enjoy the break and the show. I've seen Geoffrey a few times on TV and I believe that he lives down my nexk of the woods from what I've been told. He always come across as a really nice guy.

International Magic is just down the Tube line for me, so I visit it quite a lot. You could maybe find time (ask the missus) if you can go to Davenports as well... it's not far on the Tube (Chancery Lane to Charing Cross).

If you're lucky, Jerry Sadowitz might be in IM tomorrow. He sometimes works there when he's not performing. He's always willing to give advice on tricks too.

So are you going to tell us what you buy in there?

Not a big fan of Davenports. Always prefered International, I might seem odd, but I dont like the lighting and location of Davenports. Makes me feel suffocated.

I heard Jerry works in there at times. I am a big fan of his work, but I must admit that I will approach him with caution, I am still ringing from the hard time he gave me at the last live show we saw him in. (Mental note to self, "Front Row seats are not always the best Idea!") Although I am sure that this is just his stage personna? (I hope!)

List so far contains mainly books, and maybe a DVD or two? I have worked my way through Ammars ETMCM and although they are great, everyone in my club knows Mr. Ammars effects. I want to learn something that they dont know! A hard task I am sure!

Although I am sure I will come home with a bag or two of stuff in tow! Impulse buys! You know how it is! :D

I know all about impulse buys in there... last time i was there Martin showed me a packet trick called 'My Drink' and I bought it there and then... £15 I didn't mean to spend!

I have an inkling that my missus is getting me a weekend ticket for the IM convention at the end of November. Is anyone else on here going?

I'll post reviews of it at the time.

I quite fancy the IM convention, I keep meaning to make the trip to Blackpool again, but it always falls on a weekend I have my son (ex wife not very accommodating) But I have the weekend for the IM convention free. Have you been before?

Missed it last year as I was working away.

This year I intend to go, and I should hopefully be getting the ticket for my birthday. I'll be booked in for everything, the dealers, lectures, close-up competition and the gala event (Saturday I hope)

I think the missus will just come along to the gala event, and leave me on my own for the rest of it!

MagicAL, if you do go, or anyone else for that matter, do you fancy meeting up at some point?

:)

We expect a full review of Mr Durham's show... where's he playing by the way.

Enjoy the show, and we can chat soon about the convention (if you have any cash left!)

:)
