Hello!

I’ve been lurkin’ round these parts for a while now and finally decided to join. This is such a great place to chat about magic and there are some really great ideas being bandied about. I don’t know many people that I see regularly who are interested in magic, except for seeing it, so it’s great that there are these forums where people can just chat about magic.

I’ve been in to magic for many years now and after realising the wonderment that can be gotten from even the most basic effects I was hooked. I like to devise, adapt and perform magic, although recently I have lapsed slightly on the ‘performance’ side of it but am about to correct that. I remember the days of Junior school where I’d wander about the playground and show magic to random strangers, and performing in talent contests in large halls, presenting effects that you’d struggle to see close-up lol but those were times when I was only really in it for the tricks. Nowadays it’s just great to see someone be so amazed by a piece of magic that they can’t help but walk around with a smile on their face for the rest of the day.

As well as magic I’m in to writing, both plays and books, but mostly plays, music and just hanging around with my mates.
