Shannon Reveal (Is this a new Flourish?)

I made this up but wasn't sure if it is original. Since I filmed this, I have improved it a great deal. I'll film it again soon, but here it is before I perfected it :D

I have seen a version, where you appear to complete the one-handed cut, and the card seems to slide out of the deck.....however your little addition of not completetly finishing the cut, does give a good impression of the card sliding up from the middle.......looks good!

Thanks. I actually discovered it by accident. The card is also reversed so that you can see the face, and sine I filmed it I have got the card to come up much further. I'm going to eventually try and get it to shoot out somehow.

Haha. So weird... I saw this thread and I picked up my deck and started doing what you were doing because I saw the word reveal! I did almost exactly what you were doing and then I watched your video! I was like  . lol... coincidencial!

Nice stuff. However, I do prefer more flashy stuff. It's just my preference. e.g. This video by Dan and Dave Buck
The Buck Twin's stuff is great. Just check it out here!

Not something I've seen before either although it does give me an idea.
Rather than reversing the card to be revealed why not have a duplicate card from another deck with a different coloured back on the face of the deck. Force the original card, lose it and fail to find it a few times. Do a few false cuts, then your move. A foreign card is seen to rise from the cut sections of the deck. Turn this over to reveal the selected card !

 Had another idea !
This would be great for handing out business cards. You could have some blank card stock with your business card on the bottom. Show all the cards blank in your most convincing manner  Then do the move. The business card will look as though it is being printed from the middle of the blank stock. :D

that move was nice... but if i had done that move on some of my friends they would just laugh and say that i must have placed a upside card there before or something  that`s a little enoying when i would not do the trick that way :P

Done secretly (ie viewed from the other side) and smoothly, isn't a good way of reversing a card under the guise of performing the charlier cut? This is what first came to mind anyway....

Yeh, you can do it that way, but I dribble the cards, and in the motion of squaring perform a half pass on the bottom card :D

Edit: Actually, if you wanted to do it in the charlier cut, you would have to have the chosen card in the middle with a pinky break.
