i have done my reseach into this and i came across the finger flasher a while ago. It is not a funken ring and it requires flash cotten , etc. A funken ring runs on the flint alone. Im tempted by Makin Sparks but I placed an order for a Funken Ring today with Taurus MAgic. Its was only £9.50 so ill let you know what its like.
