Hi everyone,
you got a nice forum here.

I am not a magician but I would like to do some tricks to impress friends and I need some suggestions.

The tricks should be improptu with no gimmicks, no cards.
For instance the quantum bandits trick I saw in penguin magic.
Are there any more like that?

I suggest you look in the reviews section and see which ones that are classed as easy self working trick, catch your eye.

Welcome to TM. In echoing everyone above why not become a magician. It is not just for sad geeky people with no friends, it can make you the life and soul of the party, and you don't have to wear a silly hat or a cape either. Anyway it seems youv'e shown at least a little interest in magic to come this far and track down this web site.

And i advise that you don't look for a cheap alternative of this effect i've had mine for a good few years now and with care of and attention you will never need to buy another. (be sure not to spend it though one of my mates used his as bus fare once, Dearest bus ride he's ever taken.)

Also If your going to do some effects for your friends make sure that you practice them until they are perfect. And remeber if your going to pay for some magic items never give away the secret or it just spoils it.
