Surely only you can answer that question?

Does it fit in with what you normally do? will you actually use it on your act?

When spending that much on a prop you need to be super sure that you are making alot of money out of your gigs to make it worth while.

As bananafish has said you need to be sure that it fits in with your routine, otherwise if you have been doing card / coin tricks all night and you suddenly whip out a bench for the floating lady it looks a little suspect.

Can you use any audience member or does it have to be your own assistant ?
If it is the latter (which I presume it will be) then do you have a reliable (both in terms of pulling off the effect well and turning up !) assistant.
It would be no good spending all this money on a killer effect which you would be unable to perform.

its called a chair suspension.

Some are better than others.

500 is very expensive for a second hand one. Even new, its pricy.

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....
