Midlands/Birmingham ASDA

Postby k88 » Oct 27th, '05, 01:45

Hey there,
First post here :) . But i was wondering does anyone live near Birmingham or the West Midlands? And i have read topics that ASDA sell decks of Bicycles for 1.47? But the ASDA near me only sells Bees for 3.49  So i was wondering what ASDA that people by Birmingham go to then? Coz i need some Bikes as im running low :)

Thanks

The story I had heard is that the Bicycles were not thought to be going to sell well, so when they did ASDA immediately cashed in on the fact by selling WPT cards at double the price :).

Magic Box sell bike "seconds" for 99p a pack. They are really good seconds, slight misalignment of the backs, a hickey on an odd card, but nothing to really adversly affect tricks.

Our ASDA in Tamworth was selling them but after I bought up their last few (boxes) they have now gone over to a nother brand and as stated above - they are much more expensive.

Oh well, good while it lasted!

Remember, Cost Co is the cheapest way you can get first quality bikes in the UK.

I pay £10.34 for 12 mixed - that's 86 pence per deck!!!
