Greetings from Peter Marucci

Postby Peter Marucci » Nov 7th, '05, 13:16

Hi all,
My name is Peter Marucci and I've been in magic about 50-plus years. I write the monthly Showtime column in the Linking Ring magazine, as well as a monthly column, Bizarre Bazaar, in the e-zine Visions
(www.online-visions.com)
a regular article for the quarterly Mind Over Magic by TC Tahoe, and a host of other occasional pieces, incluing MUM magazine.
I'm looking forward to exchanging ideas here and learning from you all; that's right, after 60 years in the business, I'm still learning. I figure if I have five or six full lifetimes, I might make a dent in what has to be learned in magic! LOL!

cheers,
Peter Marucci

hello Peter.

It is always such a pleasure to welcome a magician of you stature and pedigree to our humble forum. I know your material well, and am also an avid follower of your online-vision articles

Your story telling approach to making effects your own reminds me a lot of Eugene Berger. Someone else I have the greatest admiration for.

Rob asks: " . . . where abouts in Canada are you from? "

I'm located in Fergus, Ontario, Canada -- a small town about an hour west of Toronto.

If anybody's going to be in the area, give me a shout!

cheers,
Peter Marucci

Mandrake asks: "are you still a fan of puns ?"

As the member of Gamblers' Anonymous said: "You bet!"

They don't call me the "Prince of Puns" for nothing! (As a matter of fact, they don't call me the "Prince of Puns" AT ALL! )

cheers,
Peter Marucci

Funnily enough, I'll be in Guelph over Chrismas, visiting my lovely assistant's family...

Bananafish,
Guelph is just about 10 minutes from Fergus; no charged to phone. Give me a shout over Christmas (I'm in the book).

cheers,
