Change to Policy

After debate on the site, we have now changed the rules slightly:

Access to the restricted area will be granted to users who have shown a basic knowledge of magic together with quality contributions (reviews are a good example). Currently granted by moderators of the site.

Thanks for that update - will you be taking into account the reviews previously posted on the Old Forum?

Forgive my ignorance, but what does the 'OldForum' relate to? I see no user names, only OldForum???

Hi Seige

After importing the old forum into this new forum, all the old posts were attributed to "TheOldForum" due to a problem associating them with the original posters.

Possibly in the future I may find a way to fix this.

A lot of the Old Forum postings actually give names - I just love the ones which say, ' Anonymously posted by.....' and then give the actual names!

By the way, that £20 you dropped just changed to a tenner, then a Lottery ticket, then folded itself up. Of course!
:P

Was it worth £20???

yeah i think it was... speaking for myself id say it was worth more as it gives me an insight into how i can use certain effects/sleights/techniques that may be better than the way i use them now, also i get to see how other magi use4 techniques to achieve different ends.. plus it means i dont have to s**r certain w***ds out all the t**e... h*h h*h h*h

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

 m* t**

plenty of good stuff even for a comfirmed cheet like me, even managed to make a few aceptable posts myself.

worth the twenty quid, as i have used the raven i swaped for a replacement brain.

things seem to stick in my mind now, not sure why :?: :?:

if your strugleing to get in be patient write some posts and if you can a review of a trick you have then mail the moderators they will take it from there.
i got in and i have basicly no knoledge of slights or card work, but a good baseis in workarounds and gaffing.
so dont think your inout will not be apreciated or that you need to be a purist all are welcome who can share what knoledge they have.

all hail to the moderators who have a hard job dealing with the many many people on this message board
