Young Magicians

Postby MagicTom » Nov 12th, '05, 20:26

Hi guys,
Just wondering - If you are 11 - 16 please make a post here. I feel that us younger magicians should stay in touch and talk to each other more often.

Maybe, those of us that have msn could chat etc as we are all in the same age group.

Please post here if you are 11ish - about 16!

Thanks
Tom

As we try to point out, Magicians of all ages are welcome here on TM and it's for this reason that we expect all members to be considerate and careful in the choice of words etc. Phrases which are acceptable in the workplace aren't always the right thing for youngsters to read - even if they are well aware of those phrases anyway! It's also a very big help if the member's age can be posted alongside the location in their profile so we can give due consideration when responding to posts.

Look at that .. Mandrake posting in this thread ... trying to pass himself of as a "young" magician ehehe .. awwww, midlife crises kicking in Mandrake? .. you'll be buying a motorbike before long.

Young at heart and thick of head - that's me! Age is relative and I have a lot of old relatives that I simply can't stand so I will be forever 17. Except when anyone needs a push to start the car, of course.

Whilst it's nice to see Young Magicians grouping and discussing our favourite art, I'm constantly reminded that many youngsters are extremely skilled and are vastly superior in terms of knowledge and talent to magicians twice or even three times their age. With one or two obvious exceptions (like a 12 year old producing streams of lit cigarettes etc!) this art is literally ageless so welcome one and all.
