Are you learning the Hot Shot Cut from Born to Perform? If so, it will be very difficult to set up one handed. Unlike Daryl's version.. you can square it up and do the cut easily with Daryl's version.

Yea I'm learing the one off of Born To Perform but i don't shoot the card out. I just want to be able to do the cut again and again and again. If you have seen the movie "lock, stock and two smoking barrels"(i think it's that one) a guy is doin it right at the beginning. He does it like 20 times non stop all with one hand.

p.s. what is daryl's way and how does it differ from the Born To Perform way?

Are you sure he's doing the move correct? He might be doing the scissor cut which would be easier to position into.
Oz's version uses a weird grip whereas Daryl's uses the dealer's grip which is much easier to use.

Best source is probably XB from De'vo. You can get it on Ellusionist.

The key to it is practice. Even if you have small hands or unflexible fingers, through practice and time, you WILL get it.
Lee Asher has one of the smallest hands and he can do every cut that Dan and Dave does on their System DVD.

True what Stevebo has said - the hot shot cut is technique and practice.

In terms of flexibility in your fingers, this will build up over time with practice too. It's similar to doing press ups, you struggle to do 10 to start off with (well I do anyway  ) and pretty soon you're reeling off 100 without any problems (I wish  )

Forget all of this Mullarky about how the size of your hands affects you card handling. Where there's a will, there's a way. I can't do it 'cos my hands are too small is just an excuse used by people who either don't know or can't be arsed to put in the effort.

If you're really really determined to do something then the only thing that will stop you is your own mindset.

Exactly correct about the hand size thing. That's why I was referring to the Lee Asher thing.

Compare your hand size with Lee
