you need to work on your spin so the card will spin correctly
other than that its pretty good

you probably have the "gimmick" off center becuse your spin doesnt last long.. at all. usuially i can get it to spin for a good 20 seconds witha good flick. you need to practice more, its the main key to the whole routine. and try flicking with both hands. having a backwards rotation helps with going back around your back and even through the hoop.

Was rather good.

Don't reach out to grab the "gimmick" as soon as you throw the card. That's why you shouldn't throw the card too far because the card will "bounce back" towards you.

Or, if you really wanna impress someone, do the hummercard effect without the "gimmick" :D. It's true! It's possible! :P. It's found in the Encyclopaedia of Playing Card Flourishes :P.

I'd imagine the Gimickless one would involve a slight buckling of the card perhaps ... think Frizzbee

The gimmickless one is called the Helicopter card. Basically, you'll have to know how to control your card throwing techniques. The card flies around you're body. It's not as impressive as the Hummercard, UNLESS, you prove very well that it's not gimmicked.

I would if I knew how to lol. I haven't really practiced this at all lol. I'll do it when I actually get to it. The Encyclopedia is too huge so it takes a whilet o get through the stuff.

the gimmickless hummer card sounds kool but audience probably won't notice whats different, as the hummer card to them is gimmickless

and man you need to work on all of those you handle your cards all weird in the Jack Sandwhich and are you spinning it right in hummer card? and you made it obvious it was attached to something, you just 'dived' at the gimmick..

And i wanted to see the card go all the way round your body but owel

Yeah - iv recieved some advice about the hummer card. Thankyou very much for your input as well - I shall take that on board. As for spinning it around my body - I haven't quite got that one down yet. However I shall post it up here as soon as I do :D

Also. Thanks for your idea about the jack sandwich - but in what way do you feel that it was strange handling? Thankyou for your reply and I hope to hear from you soon.

Spinning around the body is quite easy. It's an illusion when it spins around the body. What actually happens is the card stays stationary (stationery??? Which spelling? lol) and your movements allow the card to look as though the card is spinning around.
