That was one cool video. I wish I was that good. I loved you molecule II cut, that was fantastic. Although I couldn't see the actual move it was obvious that you did something when you did that pass, but you probably already know that. Your erdnase change was cool, alot smoother than the one I put on here. That cut before the card spring I've never seen before, what was it? I wanna learn that, it's really cool.

The pass was a bit obvious - if you are going to do this make sure you have misdirection.

Apart from that, I have to say it was brilliant. Everything was done smoothly and well - I liked the Butterfly cut, it was perfect!

One very minor comment is that you used the subtlety of spreading your fingers to create the illusion of a visual change on the the first Erdnase, but not on the second - just a point to think about!

thanks for the comments :D , about the pass I always do an all round square up at the end and normally talk to the specs but I didnt have any specs in the video lol.

The cut before the spring was a butterfly cut I think.

I can see why it would be called the butterfly cut. Can anyone give me anymore info on it? Where can I learn it? Is it a false cut or does it mix the cards?

I really like it and I wanna learn it.

The butterfly cut was very smoothly done. One thing about the Molecule II. I think you need to cut out the lag time before you perform the Deck Flip. You spend just a few milliseconds too much hitting the deck before the deckflip. Otherwise smoothly done!

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Nice video! I thought your pass was fine, I mean yeah it looks like your 'up to something' but in real life it'd be invisible.

I like your kick thing too

Slow down a bit

Postby Bcfaigg » Nov 28th, '05, 12:01

Excellent flourishes - personally, I would slow down very slightly - most (if not all) flourishes/sleights do not need to be concealed by speed, and if you go to fast, a - it looks slightly suspicious, and b - the spectator may not realise what has happened and won't be so impressed.
i am still impressed though, and did like the kick thing as something a bit different - can you do that every time or were you drop kick cards for an afternoon until you managed to catch one...

That's Dan and Dave's Vertigo Hackisack. Very simple move.
