I thought I read somewhere on this site that someone (seige maybe) had ordered the T.I.E.S. loop factory. Anybody have an opinion on it. The price seems a bit up there but if you can really easily and quickly produce these thousands (not at once of course) of loops then it seems well woth it seeming how one pack of loops is up to 10 bucks for 5 loops. Would greatly appreciate your feedback or opinions. Thanks.
I have indeed ordered the 'ties' system. I have heard a few good comments, and being honest, the ability to be able to tie elastic loops of ANY size appeals to me.
I use elastic thread for card gaffing, hinge making, rising card effects - I've even adopted large elastic loops for other 'floating' effects.
I will post a more revealing review here in due course, once I've received the goods.
has this arrived yet seige? *curious as hell*... heh heh heh

hmmm have heard of this thing happening before when ordering from the states... it takes ages to arrive then when it does a week or so later a duplicate order arrives again but credit card only shows one payment.. a guy at work got a $600 digital camera twice!

I got someone else's porcelain doorknobs from Screwfix Direct once, and got to keep them - but I'd rather have a camera...
I'll bear you in mind if I get a double-up!!!
I think that most of the delay is caused by the weight - I order 48 decks of Bicycle Cards at the same time (cos they were going cheap as a bulk-load), which probably weigh a ton...
48??????? what the hell do you plan to do with 48???
hehhehheh

They were going cheap... works out about £1 per-deck. Can't grumble at that!!! I get through about 12 decks a month anyway... so it's a four month supply.
They're assorted red/blue backs, too.
Actually, I've got enough to make LOTS of forcing decks !!!
so has TIES come yet???? i wanna know!!!!!!... heh heh heh
