The creature

The effect:

You pick up a pile of leaves or reach into anywhere and then show the face of a small creature between your hands then the creature has gone and your hands appear to be empty.

Price £22.00 available from http://www.emagictricks.co.uk/product_i ... ts_id=4900

I received my creature yesterday and I can honestly say that this is one of the worst made props I have in my collection and I have an extensive collection of badly made items so I know what I am talking about.

However yesterday I was ill and spent most of the day in bed playing with my creature ;-) and seeing if I could get a good routine going and today I performed it and wow the 4 people I showed it to loved it and I plan to perform it again tonight.

The creature is not that well made but people don't notice they are too amazed that you have found a grotesque monkey in there bag.

I will have to give this 8/10 as it performs so well and I think that is what matters as you can not really tell how good something is until you have performed it.

Well back to catching up at work.

Dean

P.S

I searched but I could not see this item in the review index but I may of missed it and if this is the case sorry.

D.

Hi Mandrake

I saw those comments but they did not give all the info so I thought I would do a wee write up.

It was interesting that your initial reaction seemed to confirm a lot of what was said there but, if it works for you, just go for it!

" spent most of the day in bed playing with my creature "

What a great line.

From now on I shall use this in all letters to my bank manager.

Piers.

As an update to "My Creature is Dead !" I have still not recieved a reply from Keith regarding my Creature.
I guess his 'excellent customer services' that I was led to believe he had are not quite up to scratch !
It would have been nice just to know he had recieved my email and was looking into what seems to be a common problem with one of his products.
